放下自我,菩提心無處不在

當我們關懷照料事物之時,菩提心便會顯現生起:如當我們擦洗眼鏡、梳頭髮的這些時刻;或當我們能夠欣賞,如看著藍天、聽雨的時刻;或當我們能夠感謝,如我們想起別人的仁慈,認識到他人的勇氣時,菩提心也會生起。音樂、舞蹈、藝術、詩歌裡面都能得見菩提心。只要放下自己的執著,睜開眼睛看看身旁周遭的世界,只要我們和悲傷銜接,和喜悅銜接起來,當我們能放下自己的不滿、抱怨時,這些時刻都會有菩提心。

Bodhichitta is available in moments of caring for things, when we clean our glasses or brush our hair. It's available in moments of appreciation, when we notice the blue sky or pause and listen to the rain. Whenever we let go of holding on to ourselves and look at the world around us, whenever we connect with sorrow, whenever we connect with joy, whenever we drop our resentment and complaint, in those moments bodhichitta is here.
